Heading Home

Friday 20 July, Heathrow to Sydney

We spent the night on the London to Tokyo plane, which had a private TV screen for each passenger - we hardly slept at all, watching latest-release movies and the picture from the camera in the plane's underbelly. We then had six hours in Tokyo's Narita airport, where they had clean, dry bathrooms you could rent for about $6 - real showers, with plenty of hot water, that didn't switch off after 3.46 seconds! It was blissful...

We were a bit tired, but we were also washed, fed, and happy. We did a bit of duty-free window shopping and wandered down to find the Tokyo - Sydney plane. It didn't have private TV screens, but we slept most of the nine-hour flight anyway.
